The 1st Siege Artillery Group is one of four Battle Order Task Forces that Patrons and Channel Members can put their names down. Unlike the regular supporter shoutouts names on the Task Force rolls stay there forever even after their support ends.

The 1st Siege Artillery Group is themed on artillery, air defense, missile, and STA forces at echelons above division. In the future it will be one of the tools I use as part of a military worldbuilding series, examining real-world case studies to create something new.

1. Artillery battalions are designated as "Brigade [Corps]" because batteries are the echelon that hold most of the linear significance [Mention]. For example, XXII Brigade Horse Artillery (XXII HART) is a named unit in the BOverse and its batteries (like the 17th Horse Battery) are technically only attached to it.

   1. This is inspired directly by British practice of Artillery Brigades in the 19th century and World War I.
