The U.S. 3rd Infantry Division is experimenting with reorganizing the Armored Brigade Combat Team for Transformation in Contact and this video covers the current state of their task org. Major elements of their redesign include the integration of loitering munitions, FPV one-way attack drones, and UAS and in one of their brigades the reorganization of one of their CABs into a second Cavalry Squadron, tentatively called Recon-Strike Squadrons. These will be tested at two different NTC rotations this year.
I also cover an early-2025 proposal that included a brigade-level Multi-Effects Company which was reported on by Task and Purpose. This was intended for 3ID's 1st ABCT for the same NTC 27-01 rotation, so I assume this has been supplanted.
