France's 1st Marine Infantry Regiment (1er RIMa) has converted one of its armored squadrons into a "drones de chasse" or hunter-killer drone squadron. It involves stacks of vertically launching FPV drones, loitering munitions, and fixed wing ISR drones to support the brigade and independent battalion battle groups. It was tested recently in Estonia during Hedgehog 25 against an American mechanized cavalry squadron as the OPFOR.
This news has been making the rounds in French mil circles and I was able to talk with one of the doctrine writers at 1er RIMa involved in creating the unit concept to add some more detail to what's already out there.
