Singapore Army Infantry Rifle Platoon (2019) 

The following is the current organization of the Infantry Platoon of the Singaporean Army, effective from around 2010 with equipment upgrades and the introduction of the MATADOR to the time of writing (2019). This is based heavily on direct feedback with Singaporean service members. However, online discussion corroborating this has been linked under sources.

[A] As of 2018, the BR18 rifle was to start replacing the SAR 21 in service. The SAR 21 appears to still be the most prevalent rifle - especially among conscript units - but BR18s may start to be issued alongside the BR18 and eventually entirely replacement it in the coming years.

[B] The sharpshooter's rifle is identical to the rest of the section's SAR 21s except his optic has 3x magnification versus the standard 1.5x.
