Depending on the regiment, they're either the best 🇫🇷 French combined arms team of 1980 or the best 🇺🇸 American combined arms team of 1944.
Better to have a tank doctrine with no tanks than to have a collection of antique tanks but no doctrine. Their neighbor to the north might be able to spare a hundred Abrams or so. A tank school with six Abrams would be too expensive and the resources for keeping three or four running (to run platoon-level drills) might be better spent sending select crews to the Yankee tank school for training.
